I must say, i am quite impressed. today in Odin's, i saw more midgard ppl, than i've EVER seen (counting the 2 weeks i played there, until i got too depressed by the gloom)

there must have been a good 200 ppl on and off. the Hibs where there as well, with a quite impressive army, i heard (before i came, and before they presumably met the mid army )

Albs? we where mostly on the pad waiting




I must say, i gave up after 2 trips to the pad. I simply felt too owned

That was so much fun tonight...

It seemed like we had just about every 25+ Hib with us. Actually seriously fought some Albs for the first time. I would like to thank the red-con highlander armsman who couldn't find me, and thus let me nuke him to death for 243RPs. We did seem to overpower the albs that were there, was fun not being routed by Mids for a change.

Too bad, the big bad Middies decided to show up and spoil the fun. We had total wipeout, and regrouped to take Crauchon. And again the Mids showed up with their purple cons to spoil our fun .

Was great fun, 1100 RPs to boot as well.

I think the problem is...we thought you were actually up to something... Guess we expected too much of you...

Para...damn you. I despise root/mezzers. So unfair that you can mezz and then smite me to death...really unfair. As for Dji, well, you learnt that warriors are not something good to shoot at anymore. Engage does wonders. At the retake of the Hib Merchant Keep, I engaged orange/red Rangers NPC's and blocked every arrow, including arrows fired at group members (q quick change in who I'm guarding...). So a hint, don't shoot the warrior.

Was fun, utter chaos IMO... but isn't most RvR.

Oh and Dji..mate...running INTO the M@A was lame. Sorry. But I had respect for you till then. That was just pathetic.

Well.. that was about half of us The second half was on their toes in Malmo, ready to suicide on the dragon any moment things turned too serious. We were initially suspecting you had some major raid there, and were covering our keeps mostly. The fact that hibs managed to take Dun Crauchon, instead of any of our frontier keeps came as something of a surprise.

Anyhow, was fun, wasnt it? Come visit us again!

lol, there must have been over 60 or so of us Hibbies running round like a bunch of headless chickens... it was positively the least organised thing we've ever done. To be perfectly honest I (and several others) wandered off because people weren't paying the blindest bit of attention to those trying to organise it and the whole thing became a shambles instead of an army.

Still, it was fun to be on the side dishing out the damage - I managed to time my departure perfectly and left about 30 seconds before the entire army got ganked. All I saw as I was walking back to the PK was a bunch of Hibbie death messages.

Ended up being perfect timing as I got back and gained exactly enough xp to lvl before logging off to go to bed (ie now )

HIbbie Organisation is normally excellent as well.

I have only been in one organised RvR event - but I was astonished at how many hibbies actually listened to what the 2/3 generals said. In our group chat our guild leaders were saying - listen to that fella - and backing up the leaders orders.


As I said I am only lvl 24 .8 at the mo - so most of the dead ppl were waaaaaaay too high a level for me to resurrect - I concentrated on healing those that I could heal and shouting when I saw ppl go down and saying they needed rezzing.

It was a fun event - I hope we can get the rest of the players organised. We will never outnumber middies so we need to make sure our armies are well organised and highly mobile - that way we can look to combine to jump a large group and then go and hide in the trees when big brother comes looking!

Brannor we were up to something.
I organised an rvr battle in Odins so that us Albs & Hibs could avoid the horde of high level middies that sit infront of our PK every night.

Just a shame you Mids turned up and spoiled our fun.
Then we went and helped the Hibs defend Crauchon... then the Mids turned up and spoiled our fun... lol one day middies!

Was fun hunting in Odin's for a change though

Im getting some "Give Odin's a Chance" T-Shirts printed up and I will be distributing them in Camelot & Tir Na Nog..

Better yet, buy a backpack full of Midgard amulets and distribute them free of charge to them people at telepad. Should work better, as the armor factor of a typical T-shirt, even if crafted by high level tailors, is still not good enough agains our hammers.

lol give odins a chance.... I think i have pointed out the boring camping at emain enough and i think EVERYONE has had a say on that matter and some say goto odins gate instead. Heh i was there tonight and guess what there was you ottar and about 4 or 5 more purps waiting for lil old me outside the alb pk lol!!!

lol where else is thereeeee to gooooo to find some non lvl 45+. nevermind tho i think you were maybe just there to suicide on the guards and saw me an hoped to get a rp b4 you left so you hung around for about 15 mins while i sat in the keep.

I did get all the way to ygddra today tho from odins gate and beowulf i think it was a ranger purple to me killed my guildmate and then me after i rezzed em but it wasnt too bad cos after that he left us alive. I guess he got his realm points and decided to leave us to the huscarl guards who got us mins later lol

I think odins is an option but soon as peeps start going there in numbers we will get thing scarface blood dosferra enki and the usual emain albion pk campers start alternating their camp sessions.

Its a case of go there while you got the chance folks!!!

Yup. I do actively run around in Odins. More so does Cruz and some other guys. I didn’t mean it like ”go to Odin’s, its a very safe place”. Just that it’s easier for you to outgun us ther than it is in Emain, most of the time. Ya still have to outgun us tho. Come in force. There was at least one occasion when a bunch of grey-greencon hibs managed to kill off a lvl 50 skald yesterday. Hint here - they didn’t try to solo him.

If ya want to RvR in a place where there is positively NO mids at all, then ya are out of luck indeed. Aint no such place.
