i have 2 comps... one is like 600mhz 256meg on 512kb broadband, the other is a monster machine (geforce 4, 2 gig ddr) but its stuck on 56k because theres no broadband in the area.

I'm on BT ADSL too. I get, on average, 2 completely lagged up evenings a week. Confirmed it's BT's fault, as other guild members on BT get the same problems, while other people are fine.

Silly questions time...

a) have you tried the MTU tweak? (can't remember the link sorry)
b) you didn't download the updated frog driver (if you use a frog)from Microsoft by any chance?

Admittedly not been on a huge amount the past 2 weeks (well, I had to try PlanetSide beta didn't I ) but when I have been on not noticed any lag (HG10 btw)
