XP Shortcut icons

[LTF]

Just been tidying my desktop up, and realised how crap the shortcut icons look with the arrows in them. Even changing the icon leaves them there, any ideas on how to get rid of them?

I think TweakXP removed mine, mind the shortcuts do look a bit shoddy with the arrows as has been on shortscuts since as far as i can remember.
