I am sure someone told me a way round this but ...
When you choose "hide known file extensions" from the Explorer Folder options, you can't seem to rename a file extension using the regular rename function.
This is especially annoying when you need to create a new file, as the default is ".txt".
Anyone know if there is a quick way around it, other than changing the "hide known file extensions" option ?
