XML Server Woes

Has anyone who runs scripts to download the XML files for your guild from the server had any issues?

It seems that since they fiddled with the DNS all attempts to use a script to download the XML for our guild info result in a really old page being served.

If I manually browse the XML file in IE6 or Mozilla or even Opera everything is fine, it's just that when I browse it using Links for Linux the page that is served is dated 15th of this month..

Example:

Using IE6
====================
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?><guild_status>

<guild name="Cosantoiri an Teorainn" realm="Hibernia" activechars="36" activemembers="13" guildrp="154397" contacturl="keoine@blueyonder.co.uk" websiteurl="cat.seeping.net" timestamp="2002-12-18 05:44:02" sshield="http://www.camelot-europe.com/herald/img/shields/9-0-2-full.png" semblem="http://www.camelot-europe.com/herald/img/insignia/h_emblem_020.gif" alliance="33">

Using Links or wget
====================
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?><guild_status>

<guild name="Cosantoiri an Teorainn" realm="Hibernia" activechars="35" activemembers="13" guildrp="138271" contacturl="keoine@blueyo
nder.co.uk" websiteurl="cat.seeping.net" timestamp="2002-12-15 07:35:08" sshield="http://www.camelot-europe.com/herald/img/shields/9
-0-2-full.png" semblem="http://www.camelot-europe.com/herald/img/insignia/h_emblem_020.gif" alliance="33">

I've tried on multiple machines on different networks using different ISP's and the results seem to be the same.

Any help or ideas would be very welcome!

Lyne.

if you mean Lynx, then beware it has very poor cache abilities.

Nah Links - It's a non-crummy version of the classic text browser.. At first I thought it was caching, but as I said, even when I do a wget it happens..
