Yesterday Microsoft lowered the price of its top selling Xbox console in America, with price drops following in Australia. There is no news on a UK price drop at the moment, with Microsoft keeping tight lipped. However they have mumbled something about the UK market adding software bundles to consoles to increase their value rather than decreasing hardware prices.
