xBox to have 3.2GHz 3-core CPU

xBox is going to have a serious engine. only thing I question is the 1 meg cache being shared by three cores. Sun's going something similar with a quad core cpu sharing a big cache, but I'm not really into sharing things. not when it comes to cpus :/

Not surprising really, the first generation of games have rarely been as advanced(?) as the later games for most consoles, only one I can think of offhand that does make better use of the hardware straight off the bat is probably Mario 64.

Halo and Halo 2 are utter dross. Halo 3 probably will be too.

Yeah you can't beat Goldeneye mate man i still have some fond memories of that game... that game was and is the shit.

Shame Rare not done much since.. lets hope Perfect Dark Zero is any good.. i loved the first one.

Im a little bored of FPS now except BF2 lol don't think il bother with Q4 looks like D3.

It is overhyped beyond all belief though. Please dont use it too argue against Bodhi, because I think more people would rather play wipeout or turismo than another halo. I certainly would.

I could play GT3 and still get a pretty much same experiance? please don't tell me GT4 is a better experiance.. ive played both to the death and there isn't that lot of difference.

Wipeout? nah the game is too short and frankly gets pretty boring after you have ran the same course 20x time over ;/

I'm not gonna get into a argument over which game is better etc because at the end of the day its all down to opinion but for me Halo comes #2 behind goldeneye.

Halo2 was the fastest selling console game when it came out that speaks for itself but again its all down to opinion
