XBOX pricey & will stay that way

Sony have dropped the ps2 price by 15% in japan, with XBOX going to be selling for £299, I don't think we're going to see the same kind of price drops every holiday period for XBOX. The reason being it will cost MS about £450 for every xbox they sell, and this figure will stay high becuase MS use outside technology which include royalty etc, while sony use propierty technolgy so can achieve economies of scale as the cost falls.

So basically if you buy one, you shouldn't lose too much money when you sell it. that is if you can afford one.

My N64 is worth less than the cost of a good game.

i heard once upon a time that the xbox was going to be released at a nice price of £199 so as to keep up with the sales of the ps2.
