Just wanna say how thoroughly impressed I am with the whole X-Box Live thing. Finally got it all set up and working yesterday after getting a really cheap Belkin router (also v.impressed with - plug it in, it works. That is all.) and it's great!

Games are easy to find and fast and good fun. Friends list is easy to manage and works really well. You can have 2 (maybe more, not tried) people on the same X-Box on 1 Live account playing online. MotoGP you can play the full game if you only have the Live demo disc and someone with the full game hosts. The voice transmission works seamlessly. And it's cheap! £42 for starter kit and subscription that lasts until March 2004

Oh and Mech Assault is the dog's danglies online \o/

Does the voice thing work through a headset or does it go through the speakers the game sounds go through ?

You get a headset and mic. The headset has one earphone that you hear people through. Your other ear is left to listen to the sounds your TV makes. The mic activates on the evel of sound that goes into it. So unless you eat your microphone you shouldn't have anyone hearing you breath.

stunt mode in moto gp is great fun

more so because making people crash gets you tons of points (and its damn funny too)

For me I plugged it into me adsl router. Then I played a game
