Xbox 360, Windows Media Centre and I Tunes

Dont know if this has been asked before but after a couple of searches I couldn't find anything so I thought I would post away.

Is there a way to play I Tunes music files through the media centre and my Xbox 360, I have tried figuring a way myself but have failed miserably.

Anyone have a good guide or something which can help?

Heh I'm not going to go and buy a mac just to play some music on my xbox, crazy man.

Does XBMC work on the 360 or do you have to hack your 360? Only asking because I've got a mate who's on about buying a PS3 because of the lack of media streaming through the 360...

no 360 can have linux running but not xbmc, team xbmc are leaning towards the legit route rather than using unsigned code again and sticking to the shadows. ms dont give a pap about the first xbox any more which is why its still being worked on tho xbmc site still dosent hosts the files

Never had a problem with just the normal streaming music abilties built into the 360, mind you I don't use iTunes (can't stand it) I just put all my music in the 'my music' folder and sometimes create a few playlists in winamp and save them into the same folder. The 360 picks all this up with no problems and with the new NXE system the 360 picks up the music on my pc within seconds instead of a minute.
