PS3 Online sucks, noone actually uses it on PS2

X360: PC-like games (And even more now than the xbox1)
PS3: Special games (asians like oO)

I have a 360 and will get a Playstaion 3 but that’s because I’m a sony whore. Until Sony officially release the spec of the PS3 a real comparison will be tough. But the fact it will be a blue ray player is reason enough imo saves buying one of them at £1000. I think the ps3 will be bigger because of the game developers on hand and if its anything like the ps2 vs xbox the game selection was much larger, that’s not always a good thing though.

The first blue ray player was priced at $1800 so if its coming with one of those i can't see it being cheap. I will have to buy it just for Gran Turismo 5 and the next Metal Gear Solid. Or was GT4 released multi platform i can't remember.

The reason the PS2 was so expensive at start was because they included DVD players in there, which were fairly new, at that time. I would've thought they'd go for a regular gaming system this time instead, but I guess they want to go all out

I can hardly picture myself playing some rpg for hours, swinging the controller around like mad while chopping up zombies or the likes It might be fun for a while, but I think that whole new controller thingy will eventually get boring and lose to greater cpu power and regular controllers.

According to some site Sony will try to make the console run at 120 fps, which might be nice in the future, but is fairly useless atm as the average TV can only display half of that, and it most likely won't drop the price

I couldn't care less about them sticking high-end shit in there, especially if you can't tell the difference when actually playing. The thing is that with every bit of useless/over the top hardware they add, the price will go up, which they'll obviously take out on the customers, knowing Sony

I cant see Sony releasing the PS3 without HDTV in. So basically Bluray and HDTV > HDTV and DVD.

I like my 360 and i will buy a ps3 but there is not point in assuming anything untill Sony offically release the spec of the PS3 and a price you will not know which is better.
