While a possibility I have my doubts that AMD will have the capacity to produce the chips required.

They could contract some out given notice. Just depends how much M$ wants to carry the bidding war to the last minute. 3rd party fabs couldn't just produce AMD chips with a month's notice.

Gah, sequels to things are almost planned before the originals are made ffs...

As for the whole CPU thing, I couldnt give a toss about it, all I want are some good games to come out, roll on Dungeon Siege!
