if ne1 knows a way to use x-stream dialup without the client (or more specifically the advertising banners) id b very grateful if u would let me know...
If you run NT4/Win2k you can bring up task manager and select "terminate process" which will kill the banner without it knowing it's exiting (and hence disconencting you).
If you use Win95/98 you need a program from Microsoft called Process Viewer (PView95.exe) which will allow you to do the same thing. It's a freeware util and should be quite easy to find.
