And methinks the Xbox will not drop in price for quite a while.

I *genuinely* wouldn't purchase an XBox for a tenner.

I know the controller is going to be priced at £24.99.

Good value considering it's the size of my HEAD.

C'mon, Teddington can't be that big of a place. Bump into each other on the street and loathe each other, damnit!

I went to an interview at Teddington Lock studios once. It was Pearson TV.

Turned me down cos it would have meant relocation or a 2 hour commute!

X-Box? Sux.:p

seeing as though many Microsoft products such as AOE 1 are still on the shelfs for about £30, the Xbox wont drop in price for about 2 years, even then they may only include small little extras afterwards at standard pricing

Utter twaddle. M$ knows the console market follows it's own rules and it can't break them. Not until XBox 2 :)

wouldnt it be cool if MS released a kind of emulator for the PC to run XBox games...kind of how Sony did with the PS2 playing PS1 games

hmm, well that would stop them gaining income from X-Box sales since most of the x-box buyers are PC peeps.

Powerful enough? in what way? 2.2 gig is more than enough for me:)

true, that if they made an emulator they would lose some sales....but i doubt many people with state of the art PC's are gonna go spend another £300 on a piece of hardware that is a PC in all but name, and after all a huge chunk of the profits are from the actual games...people spend a one off amount of £300 (will come down soon), and then if people only buy 5 games at full price, they nearly make that £300 again. therefore i think it would be a clever move to release an emulator, after the price drops obviously

I did hear something ages ago about releaseing the Dream Cast on a PCI Board that would fit into the PC and a reduced price because it would then use your current Hardware, Don't know what happened to that or even if it would work.

Most PCs find it hard enough just to run games for the N64 emulators let alone a PS2.
