Picked this up on PS3. Absolutely love it. I'd skipped the franchise for years after the XBOX only RAW turned out to be a complete load of shit. THQ have made some subtle improvements. The "Attitude" era tells the story of that part of WWE history really well with the events acted out using the in game animations but actually using the audio of the time (they bleep out WWF).

My only niggle is the inclusion of a £2 DLC which allows you to press a button to unlock everything, but that'll probably go down well with some.

Anyway, any game that contains "It's me... it's me... it's D... D... P" in the official DLC content is a win with me :D

Meh, never liked wrestling games. The engine in this series is particularly bad and this year's is very much as polished a turd as it can be. Hoping for a decent engine and control system next gen but not expecting them to ever be good enough to be fun :(

They've never quite hit the stride of the N64 control system but then unfortunately they cater to a mass audience. It's quite good in this one (possibly was in 12 as well) that you the ability to target damage like the old days.

That said the fun for me is totally the Attitude part atm. Beating up Road Dogg as Austin with one of the objectives being stunner Billy Gun (who's on the outside) and the other being win in 2 minutes = lulz.

Enjoy wrestling games tbh, don't care much for the live shows but the games are still heaps of fun.
