forgot to mention, the 40% self haste proc is double a pink haste which gives 20% boost. (i think) tested it and you swing FAST

lol, i wasent flaming, i was just curious as to what better proc you could get from TG? from memory as ive had every 1 and 2h i could list:

90ish DD
70ish AE dd
65 lifetap
damage shield?
50ish pt str/con debuff

pretty standard procs, and all something you'd get from group / support chars... or have crafted, where as nobody, or nothing as far as im awear can give a 40% self haste lol.

for a 3.3 speed 1h sword you would only want to be using it as a shield/sword class

i'll explain something:

tanks who use sword / shield usually play a defensive role in RvR, anyone with a slow 1h'er who comes against any group with pbt will suffer. if you have a fast sword with haste proc, you can EASILY break pbt, get a slam in whip out the 2h'er. this is what this sword does best.... apart from look hella sexy

i always use my fastest 1h weapon when fighting / ma'ing against pbt'd enemies.

so you never have poa buff from an aug/mend healer? i use a 3.9speed hammer, have 223quik or smt and blue poa = fast enough, and since it doesnt stack prolly u have to rely on it to proc the first hit?
also, ppl playing in rvr who play a defensive role = warrior mostly and almost all warriors spec hammer for low end style and snare etc.
