Ring of the Magi 100%con/dur/qual 35%bonus
30 Intelligence
30 Dexterity
11 Power

This ring is 62util and cause of the stats on it there is no way you could ever hope to SC these stats onto any piece of armour... Also i have searched BW forums and this ring has NEVER been sold before on these forums, so this is a rare opportunity

Therefore bids start at 5p with increments of 100g....

And of use only to casters - most of which can easily cap with common items and 99% cloth

Not to mention that finding a good caster jewellery setup that wont overcap int or dex with the +30 from this ring is not the easiest.

Would possibly have made an offer for it, but not with a 5p minimum

You make it sound like good rings are easy to find... there's no quests for good rings like there is for bracelets and necklaces... price stands at 5p minimum.

This ring is simply worth the minimum 5p bid... Its a very rare ring and afaik the best one for casters in game, i would buy it if i had the cash myself... If you dont wanna bid then dont bid.

11-power...... this is what makes alot of the util and makes almost no difference to most classes ( 1/2 a spell ) so i wouldnt hold your breath, although a v nice ring for some casters who want to cap everything

most casters can cap almost everything they want with 99% cloth and common quest items anyways

so tank rings > caster rings

Erm, pretty obvious answer... it's the most valuable item i have... it's worth alot of money... i need money to get myself to lgm SC and tailor...

The reason the minimum bid is 5p is BECAUSE it's
a) EXTREMELY Rare
b) I'm not accepting anything less than what it's worth e.g. i might be selling because i want money but i won't get ripped off... i'll just sell other items if i don't get 5p for it
c) Best caster ring ingame

imo the ring kagato was selling is better than this one the +power isnt worth the effort spending so much cash for ,, gl selling it anyways. heres kagatos caster ring that id prefer
. i think this one has better needed stats for a caster (to help cap everything) 4 slots and a ablative charge hereas yours has 3

With the necro changes in 1.65 i very much doubt necro's can cap everything

Necros can cap everything in 1.65 using a mixed set of 98/99% SC'd stuff and standard jewelry.


(You don't need any +con or +hits on your gear, as this is only checked at summon-time - just swap a couple of pieces when summoning)


edit: oh, and the ring is kinda crap, 40 utility as +power is a waste - as everyone knows already. And there is at least 1 other caster ring in Albion which I know of with higher utility anyway.

This rare ring is a common sidi drop if you got a bit deeper in. Drops every 3th or 4th sidi raid that reaches horsemen.

Yes, make it perfectly clear that no one is allowed to voice opinion in a perfectly acceptable and reasonable manner on a public discussion forum.

And somehow I don't think Lizia cares one iota about being 'banned from your for-sale-at-silly-prices threads..
