as with EVERYBODY ingame they WILL get as much as they can (ie if sum1 WILLING to pay that much. why not? ) to some people 1p is a lot of money..... so him accepting a bid 1p more than yours makes for good business huh?
. seen enough of your posts selling items and trying to get as MUCH for it as you can. so dont go all hypocritical cos this guy doing the same thing

I dont really see the point of this so called auction.
You ask ppl to pm you bids, but dont set a date for when it will get sold.
If ppl dont know when the deadline is then dont expect ppl to bid right away.
If you really want to sell it then do an auction the way it should be.
1) set a starting price
2) set a min increase on bids
3) set a final time when it will get sold to the highest bidder
4) Optionally set a buy out price
else ppl are just bidding in blind until it reaches the price you want for it (eg. 150p from the previous thread).
An no - i have no interest in that item - i got no thrust user and my main is a cleric.

Might just be me, but
wts = you set a price and ppl either accept that or not
wta = you ask for bids, set a minimum, buyout ect.
So basickly its an auction since you ask for bids, no matter what you set as topic.
You did it as a wts at 150 plats - noone wanted to pay that much, so imo now you are auctioning it to get a fair amount.
You cant expect ppl to put the amount they bid in reserve until whenever you feel like ending it.
You are putting ppl like Occy on hold with his gear just because you cant deside if you actually want to sell to the amount bid or not.
Maybe he could use those 42 plats to buy some other gear he needs, or to buy an alternative weapon.
Finally - do you actually WANT to sell the item, or are you just bragging/dont actually have it?
