10p for that dirk? omg ppl must be very rich and bored... I could understand 10p for stingor... but for THAT dirk? It is ENTIRELY craftble, from MP to SC to alchy >,<

as for 10p ( just for a glowy ) youre aiming rather hi , i would take the 10p offer.


Trading it for the stinger - I can't see this happening since they're both in the same Vanity class - Pretty glowies that make brehons look l337 and leave the game after the don't become "l337" with a glowy.




You can get 5p if youre lucky imo... Adding 5p for vanity seems rather steep for most shades out there. ALSO wtf lotto for stuff youre gonna sell afterwards ..

people wont really know what youre looking for if you dont specify - so lets just say your opening bid is 10p, with 100g incriments.. This auction ends when ?


Darkened Vine covered sicle is crap - never procs, too fast for blade users ... 1p if youre lucky since one drops off nearly every galla raid.

As for selling lotto'ing for drops just to sell when there are many many people who go on these raids because thats the item they need ..... YOU SUCK.

I wanna trade it for an other item not for money i just said someone ofered me that money aint selling it for that.

And well you wanted to buy it to so plz dont whine about banning stuf i jsut wanna trade galal item vs galla item.

And as for lottoing and selling it afterwards i thought it would fit my template perfectly but I loose 4% slash resist if i use it atm and i dont have money to replace 2 mp parts of my armor atm and stinger fits my template perfectly thats why. Using mp gr 5 pierce 4 cd 4cs 20 hits stinger has almost the same stats but then with 40 hits so thats why. :)

You said 'want to sell', and you won't get a stinger for this dirk, so I'm sure you will sell it in the end for a nice sum of money. Yes I wanted to buy this dirk, because I need it in my template.

It's just low you lotto'd for it when you weren't even sure if you could use it. Now you're walking away with alot of money leaving many people that could actually use the weapon disappointed. Way to go, hib needs more of your type.

Be fair, re-lotto it amongst all the NS that were on the raid and wanted it imo. I'm sure I got a screenie of the lotto somewhere.

guys at the end of the day he won it and he is entitled to do what he likes with it.

Sure its a bitter pile to swallow ( and ive had to swallow my fair share of bitter pills) but thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

tbh Id rather see peeps at least willing to trade or sell items that dont quite fit their plan for their characters than purely hold onto them in their vaults for the sake of not wishing to sell galla drops.

this is all part of the ebb and flow of daoc.

Lets say i need a specific weapon from Gall get it in a lotto but find some uber rog jewlry a week later changing my template .. If i wanted to trade the weapon / armor i won for something i can use / or sell it for money to redo my SC i would ..


Now youre saying if he does that .. he can't go on any more raids ... kinda two-way system there ... No-one gains anything if she doesnt sell /trade it ... Since someone that REALLY wants it will either buy / trade it ... and she gains money / item needed for SC.


Now he wont sell / trade the weapon and prolly end up salvaging it because of that .


Kinda a difficult call there Imo VF.


I think he should be allowed to do with it what he likes. Instead of whining about people winning items and selling them , we should do more items and flood the market , so that we avoid the high prices that are asked for this stuff.


Just my 2c.

Don't make it so complicated.

We go to a galla raid, ~6 people are interested in that weapon, the one that walks away with it lotto'd without paying attention and found it didn't fit in his template.

The rules clearly state you can't sell drops, so it's kinda lame to lotto for an item you can't use. There are only two ways to solve this in a fair way which is:

1) Re-lotto it amongst the others who could actually USE it.

2) Keep it and use it well.

Cyclo is now farming money to change his SC'd gear so it will fit in, which is a good reason to unban him from raids again.

well tbh I done my SC kit now. But my plan for my character are to go back piercing.. Ill only do this if I can win a real sweet Galla poker like the broodmother fang or summin equally as good to get the ball rolling.

Problem is "some" raid leaders wont let me lotto for an item that I really want and need and that I would be prepared to base my whole template around, on the grounds that I cant use it immedietly.... (even those poke specced characters with SC kits wouldnt use it immeditly cus it would gimp there stats)

Imo if you can justify using an item then you should be able to lotto for it.... if you get caught out being greedy and selling this etc, trust me on one thing........ it seldom goes unnoticed :)

this whole debait has only become an issue because some people have a tendency to take the piss.
