Ok before I start, I'm a crap player, I know I'm a crap player coz I don't play often enough. I have an unstable ping that averages at about 200 to 300 plus, and that doesn't help me.
My story begins:-
Not long ago I owned a 56k Dimond external modem (I forget the model number) however annoying it became when it didn't connect first time it gave me hours of CS bliss sometimes allowing me to be top of the board. Unfortunately a storm passed our crappy little town and me without a surge protector lost that modem. Managing to con my local currys into giving me a new modem they told me that particular model was discontinued and instead gave me a 3com U.S. robotics 56kvoice fax modem. Since playing Cs using this modem I have almost gone bald with frustration. For some reason I seem to have to pump an entire magazine from an Ak 47/M4 into my opponents to make them go down, if they turn around, one burst is enough to take me down. For example I once got the drop on a guy shooting him in the back, I was wearing full body armour with full health with an M4 he turned around and blasted me with his MP5 and killed me and it wasn't a headshot. His health was 20% and his ping was almost equal to mine. What the hell is wrong with my connection, it seems some of the bullets aren't registering. So if any of you guys can recomend something or tell me what's happening so I've got an excuse I would appreciate it.
P.S I'm not a newbie I'm just a retarded skilless bum, like a cheater without the cheats.

. From the moment on it seemed like i was being cheated, i would rush some guy in the back put 10-20 rounds into his skull, only for him to turn around and kill me 9 times out of 10. I just gave up and let it be, it seemed pointless playing a game where i was playing what seemed to be 2 seconds behind the rest of the players within it. It still happend to me while i played tfc, i would come into view of a sniper at close range, take action to avoid and disrupt his shot, but nearly allways die because he had allready shot me before i had done any of it
