You were near the rocot room? They added those somewhere between 1.50 and 1.52, they are just random "atmosphere" messages that the server pops up from time to time if you are in certain locations. Most are more serious but these are supposed to be funny, as if the demons were like office workers in the sales department of a Wall Street brokerage. Ever read a comic book called Hellblazer back in the early 90s?
