WTF still have map problems HELP !!!

I ve justy done my third CLEAN installation of CS upto 1.4 with all the patches they all applied fine and I can play one or two maps the others all server say my maps differ from servers.....
1. I canot find the original maps anywhere for downlaod
2. Why the f**k should i have to download the whole 111 megs file ? {again} {mine is in patches.....}
3.can this be real ? all these patces only to get this F*iken erorr ?

Ive been posting and reinstalling for two days now and im sick of ituke:

4. somewhere in this universe is a guy that can solve my dilemma......i just havent managed track the dude down.....

I have the MOD version of CS i just as i said above reinstalled AGAIN cleanly and still have the same problem ive looked the nextwish 1.4 bugs thing and i cant suss it at all...i cant play italy,inferno,dust,dust2...{dust2 aint even in my maps folder}
the list goes on.....sometime the server will say cannot finf file other times cannot find map or map differs from server....i cant even remember what maps i can play on........its all too mcuh really......i mean all these FRIKIN updates and then this.......also......whilst on my last CLEAN INSTALL when i got to CS 1.3 i tried it then to see if it was the 1.4 patch causing my probs......but NOOOOOOOOOPE same error......
this is all strange coz last time i installed HL/CS about 6 months ago when cs was 1.3 everything was HUNKYDORY.....
Im have now spent several hours trying to sort this out to no avail....
IF i downlaod the retail fix { i have MOD version } will it overwrite my maps of just say 'you have the MOD version installed"
OR am i going to have to downlad the M*t*AFreakin 115 megs FULL PATCH........come on ffs this cant be real >?

Ok, losing your temper at us isn't going to help at all, is it?

You probably will have to download the patch again, your other option is to note which files are in the error message, and download them individually.

two things...

the easier option is to download either full upgrade, or the patch from 1.3 to 1.4 again, in case your version is corrupt... (either cs14full.exe or cs1314.exe, whatever floats your boat)

or the more preferred option by many people is:
If you got a Win98 boot disk, stick it in your drive and boot from it.. if not download one from www.bootdisk.com

when you see the following prompt, type FORMAT C: /U /S and press ENTER, then press Y if any silly txt comes up

Download the full 1.4 and 1009 files... you'll definately still have problems (skyboax errors blah blah etc) but itll be a lot better. Even on 56k both files will be done overnight so get to it

You could just download the maps which dont work, thats prolly the quickest option.
