The bag is a boar skin. In 1.48 and below there was a bug that allowed you to equip a boar skin as a 1h weapon. Unfortunately that bug was fixed in 1.50

I had one of those bags on my paladin. Its quite funny to smack people with bags

Middies use crafted cloaks I think, someone was hitting me with one at the after-memorial-duels. Almost killed me too, I kept getting hit for 0 damage when I didn't evade! NERF CLOAKS!

hehe, its called Dispositional Cloak, and has some rogue stats, dropped from Captain Gruff in Skona Ravine

think its still usable as 1h wpn (hence the name should allow it to), but not sure
