They are formatting marks.

You need to go into tools & options and under formatting marks make sure nothing is ticked.

Depends on your version of word though i think.

I believe shift and F1 can cause this to happen on some versions of word.

It's a paragraph mark, you have the button with the same symbol pressed in the toolbar, deselect it to remove it.

You need to type lurid sex scene's into your computer, and try to be as explicit as possible. Also, caressing your mouse scroll button, as well as fondling your pc's cd draw (making sure its fully extended).
