Ok I have never seen one tbh, why would any overclocker want a 2600 over a 2500? And how are you planning on unlocking it Konah if it is factory locked?

That doesn't work afaik I heard its better to use a wire. But 80% of 2500 factory unlocked anyway?

youve had a cpu for 4 years? :m00:

ye well i dont upgrade when what i've got still does the job just fine... or just because smth new comes out, i upgrade when theres a generation change in architecture.

have been waiting for socket AM but since ddr2 is mostly smoke and mirrors (atm) i wont bother, will prolly get a pci-e 939 in 3-6months and either sell this one or use it for bb/spare.

Wise choice, with DDR3 only 2 years away and another socket change required for it you may as well buy dual core 939 when the prices are halved next month. A dual core AMD is going to be more than enough for the next 18 months anyway.
