I disagree Gwadien. People can decide who they trust. Could set up a new forum part where people make threads with items. Decide for a price, set up purchase via Ebay for example.

I don't see a harm in a thread for it(no need for a full section seeing as how many "for sale" threads there's been), but if you want to be secure then the ebay thread works fine.

Otherwise it's caveat rectum as always and FH needs to be cleared of liability.

Well sure, but with it being announced it might perk up some interest to the point a thread might get a little messy, a section would just keep it clean and can be set to only be seen by members registered for so long or with so many posts, and liability can be cleared with a FAQ/sticky thread or whatnot.

A thread in general/the front room, will always generate more interrest and action than a section will.

Rules such as only for sale/wtb posts maybe ?

The rep system on here will probably be enough to verify you trust someone. Anyone still here signed up on that day in december a decade ago is, I'd say 99.9999% trustworthy (this includes me, the 0.0001% ). Or just ask.

Yeah, I know, but if this gets implemented big style, then there will be people to come here and abuse it, but yeah, I think you're right with the rep thing.

Mods already remove bots. They sign up and post every day, we're very good at spotting them and nuking them in general (by we I mean everyone, I'm not a mod. vote toht for mod 2014).
