hi there zharr mate =) hoped to c you ingame last day, no luck tho.
Afraid its a popular ring that most uses so do the quest imo =) only need first quest part for ring which you can solo.

The ring is the reward for the first (and shortest) part of the dark places of soul quest. I guess you can do it in half an hour. Considering that I doubt you will get the ring for 500g (as has been said, everybody and his dog uses it himself) you should give it a try imho.
