Darkspire is great fun the first few times - awesome graphics and idea, but after that it just gets repetitive.

Basically, there are normal mobs along the one-way path, then every few rooms there's a named mob which drops an item. After that you get to Darkspire, but for the means of farming the ring you don't need to go that far. First mob drops all the qui items, etc. I believe it's the paladin-like mobs that drop str items, including the ring.

You can farm up to the paladin mobs, kill them, loot up and port back out. Wait a min then port back in - rinse and repeat.

Few ice wizards is nice in there, few clerics, pally and a merc or so.

str items drop from the 4th darkspire boss i run regular raids on sundays as long as no ml's and saturday afternoon. drop me a pm if your interested in going and i can see about maybe fitting you into the group

eggy if your just farming the 1st lot of bosses before darkspire then you can do nit quite fast with

1x pally 1x reaver 2x ice wiz 2x cleric 1x thurg (pbt) 1x melee fastest ive done the whole of darkspire is 16 min. planning to drop that to 10.
