I dont think the mobs is harder to farm, I am killing those drakulvs that are supposed to drop the ring, I would say they are as hard or easier then Windswept and chillsome but Im not 100% sure it drops where I am pulling, spot before lair... orange - purple,

it is the drakulv executioners at the lair place on the other side from the dragon lair(not the normal spot) and not sure about ur last question.
