1p is fair enough for a cloth or leather suit.
But 1p for a 100% qual af100 chain or plate suit? That both looks great and will kit you out for those last 5 levels no problem.

Its fine to pay 1.5p for any epic, they all look nice and as you say can kit you out nicely for the last few levs. However you think thats the reason most people buy them? Hardly, its to have a uber looking lowbie alt.
I know I wouldnt pay 1.5 for one.
Anyway differentiating between cloth/leather epics and the chain/plate ones is a bit silly considering they all fulfil the same role and it would suprise me if the /salvage value was very different.

But if you match the cost of buying a crafted level 45 plus suit of cloth or leather to that of chain or plate, then the plate/chain is probably double.
