i just can't understand why it is so hard to put the starting price of the bid so high, that when someone offers it, you will actually sell it...

It does seem to be a growing trend tho.. people putting items up for auction and then either just waiting for the price they want or not selling even after it reaches the min / reserve price. If you are not going to follow through why not just put it on your CM and let people buy it if they agree with your price? In a normal auction the bidder can sometimes get an items for a steal and likewise the seller can also get more than the normal value. In the case where the seller is gonna 'control' the auction, the bidder loses any possible chance for this advantage doesnt really encourage peole to bid does it?
