Wrongly accused

Arghhh, lo all. Just went on the Jolt 1 server to be greeted with sumthing about an illegal cheat being detected on my system, i wasnt cheating and i dont want to get banned! Does ne1 kno how i can clean my computer of ne cheats that culd of gotten on there? I promise u ive never downloaded ne sort of cheat or hack at all. Thanx v much all

Urm no, i dont think ne1 could of put nething on my computer. It has a bios password and i dont think ne1 could of gotten on it without me knowing. me is getting very sweaty

Wrongful accusations happen all the time, but anti cheat software doesnt often make mistakes...

There arent many false positives created by VAC or HLGuard as far as I am aware, so there is probably a trace of a known cheat on your system

If it was Jolt banning you on admins judgement then the chances of it being wrongful are increased, but I'm sure they would have evidence ;p

I uinstalled Half Life and CS deleted everything i could and reinstalled verything and its fine now! Playing on jolt nps. Cheers guys

Actually it isnt sorted, i got the warning again saying that an illegal cheat has been detected on my computer. There is a WAD file that turns up in my CS directory caled n0th1ng and i think it must be the cheat. It keeps putting itself on, i reinstalled b4 but with no joy and then one time i didnt get the warning so i thought it was fixed

A WAD file contains textures for making maps, and the particular n0th1ng.WAD file is required to play certain maps on CS. Do not delete it, it certainly isn't the cheat.

I aren't being childish, ask yourself why he's in the BW forum asking about being banned from Jolt servers, hmmm maybe it's because he's banned from them as well, you need to realise when people are taking the piss MT.

He complained about being banned for cheats, the fact that he uses Jolt is irrelevant, seeing as lots of GSPs use the same anti-cheats (HL Guard etc).

Oh and just to add to the above I have never ever told people to piss off for playing on whatever servers they want to MT, I used to always play on Jolt and I enjoy playing on BY servers, if I was banned from either of them I certainly wouldn't go into the BW forums to ask advice, I don't wanna fall out with you MT I just get the feeling this pillock is taking the piss......we will see.
