Dunno really, all the typing programs on the net base it on punctuation etc and it doesn't really work on a non-natie that well.

It's not so easy to do it on command, but if i write what i want to write, i think i manage well enough.

I like to edit things anyway and make sure what i write is good enough english is language are.

Typing speed depends a lot on what you're typing - maybe obvious but alot of people in this thread are overlooking this.

If you're typing something like a post on FH or chatting on Facebook then you're typing what is in your mind, which is alot easier than re-typing something from a sheet infront of you.

I can, depending on the complexity of the text, get around 80-90 words per minute when touch-typing & copying pre-prepared text to ~99% accuracy. Where as when I'm chatting shit on mIRC or on here I'll get near 120 words per minute

according to different tests i get around 110-130 with ~95% accuracy (dependant on the difficulty of the text ofc), typing a text in front of me. i guess writing forum posts and the like where i dont have to capitalise and use loads of punctuation its more like 160-170
