No, I'll only think of quitting DAOC if Frontiers, 6 months later when the smoke has cleared and we've gotten used to how all the changes work, hasn't stopped RvR sucking so much.

gameplay > graphics, thank god blizzard knows this, and is also pointed out in every wow alpha/beta review... i'm very curious about it

Doubt that I will quit daoc soon, but I will try WoW out I think..
But still .. daoc got the best gameplay/story/action etc etc. So I dont think that some "uber" graphics can beat it.
Like many players said that they will quit then Lineage2 will come, I tryed it out .. and its total BS .. graphics suck hard, then the uber booooring leveling >< etc etc ;p

i must admit that was one of my concerns. the game mechanics look interesting, but it does look quite childish in it's rendering. Also will be interesting to see if it lives up to all it's hype!

As others have mentioned, the game just looks to cartoony, have you seen the monsters? It looks like your playing a walt Disney game !

Which is a shame, I normally love blizzard games I like the warcraft world and im sure the game will have nice detailed backgrounds and history and story, but I fear the gameplay will be to simple and uninvolved and the graphics just to off-putting.

But who knows, i'll wait and see nearer the time, but right now I prefer the look of Dragonempires.

Sure is that i cant afford the "Good realm " dwarf humans etc etc (daoc albs^^)

did here people say that SS dont transfer the feel to well (making it to cartoony for many ppl, but wouldnt know as im not in alpha/beta).
Also there should be an open beta at the end, so for people who think its to cartoony might wanna give it a go then as imo it would be a shame to miss out on a game by not checking it out for a few hours.

Im sure as hell gonna test WoW, but the absence of PvP so far is not good.

Testing Lineage2 right now and....well;

- Gfx is ok
- No individuality
- PK's everywhere
- Really dull PvE so far
- inexact controls

But ill play it a little bit more too see that im not missing out on the good stuff.
