If this has dawned on you already then :worthy: but just thinking laterally....

They could have called the game Legend of Warcraft and got the acronym LOW.. not good marketing but instead it is WOW... and most people seem to be saying just that .. WOW!! looking at all the game aspects - server crashes and queue waiting aside- the actual gameplay does seem to have that wow factor to it. All the things that you would hope for in an MMORPG are here in WOW! This is a true case of trial and improvement- other mmorpg's have tried and WOW is improving on them. Taking aspects from DAOC and EQ and UO makes WOW what it is ... I can only imagine ( having not played the game yet) that when you first log in you mutter under your breath .. wow! and at this point you are quoting the name of the game!! There must be some clever little designer somewhere who jumped around with joy when he invented the name and all the other implications that come with it .. To Blizzard i salute you on a title well chosen. Other MMORPG's such as DORK (DAOC) and U Owe us money (UO) and Ekkk all that levelling (EQ) really don't seem to have hit the mark right from when you buy the game. A clever little strategy and you may think im insane reading so much into a title but there you are. Good Job!

I thought the use of forums was for "nerf <insert all classes except priest and druid here>" posts and "101 signs that you've played too much WoW" style posts, we don't want anything intelligent or varied thank you very much! :twak:

Hehe ...

First time I logged in .. I went "WoW" to the Interface .. that portal just looks sooo nice.

If you play as Alliance ... and you've never played before ... just wait until you reach the outer gates of Stormwind ... then you'll go "WoW!!!" for sure ;)

I've seen the Dark Portal in-game also - that was a WoW moment too

One of the most impressive moments for me was the first time I entered the Tauren areas as an Orc. After being in the stark orange and red climate of the barrens for so long, running into a lush green environment was simply amazing.

The sight of Thunderbluff was also something lovely to behold, all that wide open spacing and long rope bridges connecting it all together, grand :)

I personally love the Dwarven homelands, all that crunchy snow underfoot, and the scenic mountains, and if you look at your character up close you can see cold breath coming out of your mouth. Would make it even more special if they actually added weather effects I think :)
