A friend of mine on Facebook has recently given birth to a lovely baby boy. He's a few weeks old. She's uploaded many photos of him into an album.
She uploaded some new ones tonight, and I noticed something disturbing. The baby's eyes don't reflect red, they reflect bright white. I've read about this online before where a concerned mother detected some eye disease early because of the white reflection instead of red. The other eyes in the photo of her and the dad are obvious red. I've never seen this before on any baby pictures scattered all over facebook, nor have I seen it on my photos of my sister's kids - I've only seen it on her photos.

Now, I'm not a doctor and I really hate sticking my nose in people's business and avoid it. I could mention it and worry her sick and it ends up being nothing and I could really upset her no matter how good my intention is. What gives me the right to get involved when I know fuck all about it other than a news article and wiki.
What do you think?
