lol like mike I actually tried something that wasn't totally mental (pot noodle and a yorkie...seriously? Oo) I thought I'd do something with what we had in the fridge at the time which was half a bottle of mead, some pork medalions, spuds and the usual dairy produce so I thought I'd marinaide the pork in mead and cook it so the mead reduced and made a nice sweet sticky coating, and do dauphinour potatoes to go with it.

Simple enough (so I thought...) bearing in mind I've made dauphinour (made but can't spell probably) potatoes about 300 times before I thought I was safe but they didn't work and were rock hard with the sauce all kind of bleeh like babysick and the meat was tough as old boots and the mead had turned in to something resembling phlegm; as tris so elequantly said, total gash.

Not, I have to say, my finest hour tbfh.

then again I rather like it when one of us makes a meal that stinks because its a legitimate excuse to call a takeaway.

Exactly how rich is B2...and would he be interested in say a 20 y/o irish guy who will do anything for money? :p

There are quite a few wrong things to do ^^

  • Noodles with Ketchup
  • Some sauce, which consisted of onions, leek and creme fraiche … the leek was in the pan for too long andn the onions made the sauce look totally brown … tasted quite crap as well
  • "Flaugnarde" (sort of French cake) with rum pickled prunes … wasn't THAT bad, but it was like eating pudding, because everything was too wet ^^

That's what I can think of =) Everything else turned out well ;)

Think it looks awesome aswell, maybe could have spread the sallad and lettuce a bit more. But don't see anything wrong with it.

Found a parmo there called the teesside meat feast This is why you're fat.
It is quite embarassing. Not only is the poorest looking parmo in the world, but the **** who has added it hasnt even called it a parmo.

What a fucking arsehole wanker.

Taters and apples work if you work them nice.
It really depends on the kind of apples, some do okay but some just destroy all the taste and replaces it with something half apple thats really disgusting.

True. Once tried mashed taters and sour apples, not really working i tell ya.

Not as a full dinner, just had both so thought "hmm."

No the cooked cheddar really did not go well with egg custard. We laughed though. Did not want to upset the kitchen staff.
