Gonna post this separately in case anyone misses it. You can watch Portugal for another five days or so.

FIA World Rallycross Championship : Portugal | Quest TV

The whole 2016 season will be on free to air Quest TV. Yes I'm biassed but this sport is absolutely fantastic. There are nearly 30 races each lasting about 5 minutes, so you can have the odd boring race but you're always guaranteed to witness some outstanding races too. Contact is allowed and these guys don't mess around. Sebastian Loeb has joined this year, as has Ken Block. Petter Solberg is defending champion.

Give it a try. We put our heart and soul into making the best entertainment we can.

I gave up watching motorsports a while ago but if I was to pick one up rally'd be it. :)

Too time consuming tho. I wach barely any footie nowadays so picking up another isn't on the cards unfortunately - looks a lot of fun.

Rallycross was the sport that I grew up with and caused me to spend a stupid amount of money on a fully prepared turbo mk3 Escort.

Used to be the best thing on Grandstand back in the day, Murray Walker saved his best hysteria for rallycross.

Watch semi final 2 for epic racing (about 1hr 40m in). If the above is geoblocked then it should be on quest TV.

Hmm...can't find it on Quest TV, but glad I realised they do have their own site :)

Funnily enough, just found a picture of it, fully seam welded, full skid underplate, fluid slip diff, 12psi blow through turbo, 200bhp, 14 point cage with side bars, hydraulic handbrake, piped in extinguisher, dash mounted brake bias adjust, built by Malcolm Wilson Motorsport, this was a god two years before the factory turbo Escort was out.
It was sooo fucking fast in it's day, still really quick today if I hadn't swapped it for a 4X4 Sierra.

Yes, there's loads of RWD hatchbacks now, FWD never took off.

That's more excitement in that clip than a whole season of F1
