World Championship in Daoc RvR.

Hi, i just wonder will that ever happen?

Or a European Championship etc etc..
Would be a great idea of mythic to let us
compete across the servers imo.

Or at last some sort of arranged competion RvR,
arranged by mythic or goa.

So u think this a god idea or bad idea?
And if something like this is alrdy planned plz let me know.

Would be damn fun to see how excalibs best fg
doing against rest of the servers. :worthy:

it would be possible with /charcopy however all would be rr1 etc i think as rps arent transferred

rps are - it's equipment that's a pain in the arse.

However you can't /charcopy from the european servers to the US servers mainly due to versioning issues but there's probably other problems such as funny characters (ç, ø etc.)

not to mention the fact that Mythic don't have any of the european character data - so they'd need to get GOA to send over the databases.

/charcopy r only on US servers and simply copy (mythic does it manualy(sp?)) u char to the test server pedragon then u can try new specs, future fixs for u char (like LA nerf) or just test how good toughness is compared to aug con

Doubt if it would happen at all, if mythic were to present this it would go against the basics they are trying to promote.
Think the idea is to see as many different classes out there as possible not fotm gank groups. Thats the general design behind the game or at least how i understood it.

i actually came up with the same kinda idea a while back.. where peeps could enter an arena v another grp just for fun.

the /charcopy thing may be a good idea for a dedicated server for handling these fights.. oh hang on! dedicated server... i said the forbidden words

would be bloody interesting though!

would like to see the uber german grps up v Dem Hibbies or Nolby Pride..

..oh and all fights on camera so u can see em later

Naaahhhh! Make an Excal Rally Cart Championship! Horse races with carts etc like Gladiator's Arena battle! you can have the option to stick petrol into the horse's ass (like nitro).
