Working on a Sorc ToA Template...

1. First of all, which is the best Program to do ToA Temps on, I'm trying to use Kort's but half the Arti's arent on it, and the ones that are, are all just lvl 0 items, so dont show the full stats.

2. Also, all the of the Sorc Temps i seen so far, not one has had any +% to Spell duration, why the hell not? +% to Mez is gonna be such a god send in the fight against Determination.

3. I have been told Damage/Range/Speed % is capped at 10% but all the rest, ie: Healing effectivness/Buff effectivness/Spell duration and so on are capped at 25%.

4. Also, is the most you can increase a cap by 5 for stats and 40 for hits? Not totaly sure on this one.

5. And one last thing, can a Char activate and use 2 of the same arti? as 2 Ring of Fires would be ideal, but some say you can only have 1. Anyone know about that?

Help please, and discuss if you feel the need, any suggestions welcome.

1. type em in yourself? in the time you wrote that sentance you could have typed one in. Also its a good way of making sure they are correct. worse thing ever is to do your whole SC and find at the end of it that your +10% crush resist on gem is actually a +spirit resist and you've already paid for the mp armour and SC

2. agreed, find artifacts that give you this on VoS - if you cant theres always +spell duration dropping off rogs. Search on CMs for it. I use a 12% spell duration belt and 13% spell duration flute when i use charges and shade/wolf-mode for 12.30 instead of 10.00.

4. you can increase any stat caps by (level/2)+1 so thats +26 afaik. hits cap is an increase of level*4 so thats +200

5. you can only activate an artifact once per char... i think :D

4. So I can increase my dex intel and con caps by +26 Making my total Caps 101 instead of 75? and Hits from 200 to 400 with the increase to hits cap of +200?

Just wanna clarify this as i got a lil confused.

% duration is nice aye, should be able to get a nice rog belt with that I guess. :s Haven't bothered much in my sorc sc template as I just wanted it to work with decent dex / int cap increase and cap eveything.

Only 1 of the same artifact on the same char. So can't get 2 ring is fire.

And yes, you can get 101 dex with 26 cap increase, same with int and every other stats. 400 hits is also possible if you get 200 hits cap increase which isen't that hard if you use Necklace of Cyclopean Staruete, I've found it hard to make a sc template with that one for sorcs though, and phoebus harp has 6% duration to spells ( artifact ) and is a necklace also.

I've been working on a sorc template with minimal arts/rare drops but maximum utility. It uses Traldors (Dead easy to activate and level), Crown of Zahur (looks shite but is rather nice - easy to activate and level) and Nailah's (not too hard to activate and level, uber proc). It caps cast speed, has 4% range and damage, also has a fair bonus to power pool and about 20% spell duration. Has a couple of RoGs (best place to get + spell duration) that are easily replaceable and is pretty easy to SC. A perfect sorc template would have Erinys charm (hah!) scalars and ceremonial bracer as well but I cba getting and levelling them. I'll post my template when I get home.

I think this needs to be rethought :( From what I been told in next patch all bonus % is being put down to a cap of 10%, u know if this is true or just BS?

most important ToA things to cap on a sorc template is-

+casting speed
+spell range
+Dex cap

Nice bits-
+Power pool

Anything else is a bonus

You missed out on Spell duration :)

Anyone know for sure what if the cap for % Bonuses is going to be 10% for everything?
