Work around for animist pets not attacking purple con mobs issue

The only time FnF pets will attack purple con mobs is when either:

A) Group leader has aggro
B) You have aggro

Therefore try to get a tank to be group leader. Also apparently the bladeturn buff pet affects the first 3 people in the group list so its best to have the tanks first in the group. Its a pain, but unfortunately thats the way it goes

Hmm another question- Verdant basleine heal spirits:
One does healthregen in the area
The other says its a heal with range 300 so i guessed you cast it on your mushroom and then everyone near it gets 41hp. But only the turrets are healed?

this isnt a bug or issue, they arnt supposed to attack purple pets afaik.
