Yippee!!!!

NTL just this morning increased cable modem allocations in the area where my new house is.

I just got off the phone, I'll have a cable modem in 7 days time and I just spent 15 minutes detailing all the reasons why I was cancelling my BT phone line with a (surprisingly OK) BT person.

God it feels so good.... the thought of never having to give BT one more fucking penny ever again makes me want to sing and dance naked round a 2-metre pyre of BT telephone directories and burning BT board members smearing my lithe young naked body with the fresh steaming blood of Oftel staff and Iain Vallance.

Yeah I'm happy

And yeah NTL probably suck too but at least they're not BT and at least they can provide me with a cable modem (BT couldn't even manage ADSL ffs, some lame shite about being too far from the exchange, bollocks to them).

The point is that as an internet gamer BT have been the bane of my life for nigh on 5 years now and to finally be rid of them, well, it's a weight off my chest and I just had to share
