Wireless router USB Adapter problems

i'm currently using a netgear DG834G router,

ive set it up so that you cant be connected without having the MAC address in the access list,

i'm using both wires and wireless, but for some reason when i use the wireless USB Adapter...

when playing camelot, and i port to beno, or any other keep in rvr it resets my pc...

if i use the wire i have no crashes what so ever.

i've checked my router settings but im not sure what im looking for..

any help would be very nice

USB ADSL adaptors suck monkey balls. Quite a lot of them are similar to the win modem scenario of a few years ago.

Basically they use the processor to encode/decode the data. So whe you are using the processor intensively, if you access the adsl adaptor it can either drop the connection, lock up windows or crash completely.

well thats sorted that out, was only using it because my m8 came around and i didn't have another cable, its just a bastard because we where looking forward to owning in rvr

oo well, shall just have to buy another cable on monday
