Tried:

changing channels
new batteries
and all the basics.

The transmitter goes into the Keyboard spot NOT a usb spot.

It died on me this morning. One minute it was fine and next it got prawned.

Any suggestions?

Make is Memorex Mx5500rf if that helps.

Thxs in advance.

Nothing wrong with wireless keyboard/mice if you buy decent ones

My logitech mx 700 is still working from 3 years ago, granted ive given it to my brother but it still works. My MX1000 has had heavy use for 18 months now with no issues.

As with anything, if you scrimp when buying wireless equipment it breaks. It's the price you pay for not spending a lot of money.

I'd much rather have wired.

Personal preference of course, I just cant stand it when people badmouth wireless because they don't pay for decent wireless equipment :p
