Anyone tried something like the Netgear DG824M wireless ADSL-modem/router device. Wouldn't mind moving my PCs out of my front room.

Not tried a wireless one, no, but I do have a remarkably cheapo Belkin non-wireless one that's fucking great. 50 quid, plug it in, it works. That is all. Just means you have to hide some bits of cat5 in clever ways, not hard to do really :)

Fair enough - nice little review of a wireless bridge thingy here that looks quite nifty for wi-fi'ing non-wifi devices. That plus a wireless router would do the trick easily I'd have thought?

I personally recommend the Vigor 2600we (I think that's the one anyhow) which is their ADSL router with 802.11b - it's easily the most flexible router I've used and the range on it's wireless is awesome.
