each time i try to connect to my isp, it stops on the verifying user and pass and it can stay like that for ages, is there a problem with the system? re-installl may be?

Im running WinXP and not had any problems.
Did have the same prob once tho, just cancelled then tried again...worked first time.
Check your DUN settings...might be the built in firewall causing probs?

ive done a fresh install(not upgrade) and everything is fine now, and of course i backed up my precious files :-D
Also, i hate the "Dummy Proof" look of windoze, so ive change the theme to suit my needs. Boots up in 15 seconds flat! wahoo!!!!
