Winrar Trojan?

Hi Guys,

Just downloaded and installed winrar from the winrar site and while it was installing norton detected and removed a trojan called pwsteal.trojan which was found in the /program files/winrar/zip.sfx

is this a known problem, or did my norton get bored and start looking for something to do?.

Perhaps you got a broken or dodgy one?

I updated my norton the other day... ran a scan and it found that :uhoh: I figured it was a dodgy rar I had downloaded. Guess not.

I dont use Norton, prolly a problem with the definitions, to be safe submit it to them and they will check it out.
