no need to die and release, just have a BB with you or if you lucky keep running towards frightening harpies and they will aggro Hermes and the other mobs will just turn back.

I solo'ed using a BB to rezz me, and even if i had used die-n-release technique its still done 1 person, solo

Whats the respawn timer for the winged helm encounter? I'm looking to get the playboy ears ))))

then you can wait LONG time, my first attempt i got there saw him he was up, while getting bb there someone els took him GRRR waited 20hours (with sleep i'm not that crasy ;P) and he popped again.
VoS reports that he can take up to 24hours, so your in for a long wait m8
