I used to run W2K and just find that Win XP fits my hardware better.

Win 2000 pro> XP pro > XPhome.

I found it to hang my computer on newer games, prolly coz they're optimized for win 2k which I have now, but the opposite sitaution occurs, deus ex is for win 98, but it works on win 2k , but hangs frequently.

Sadly to play the latest games you need the lastest o/s as well the latest h/w , Anyway that wot I reckon
