One of the issues I find strange as I'm reading this article is how upgrading from WIN98 will cause the system to be less stable than a pre-install system using whistler, I understand this if you are adding it on top of a WIN98 machine that already has apps installed. However if you start a fresh without any thing on the HD shouldn't it just check that you have a WIN98 CD and then almost carry on as if it was a full version, I'll be annoyed if you can't.
